RedStream Technology is recruiting for a Financial Analyst to join the team of a leading financial services company. In this position you will spear-head financial planning and accounting activities across business units and lead tactical revenue and expense planning, quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. You will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including preparing financial presentations, reviewing progress versus expectations and other projects requested by senior leadership team. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.
Responsibilities
- Develop tactical revenue outlooks, monthly and quarterly forecasts by business unit, and strategic planning support
- Provide revenue and expense fluctuation analysis to management on a monthly basis
- Provide management with monthly results versus forecast and remaining budget for the quarter and year
- Work closely with business unit senior leaders to execute the business plan and ensure revenue budgets are track, and risks and opportunities are transparent
- Coordinate quarterly commission payments to sales team members eligible for commission payouts
- Provide additional analytic support across finance organizations during month end close and other peak times
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Finance / Accounting
- 5+ years of financial planning and accounting-related experience
- Strong understanding of Financial Planning and Analysis and Revenue Forecasting
- Solid communication skills, with confidence in these areas to communicate across departments company-wide
- Proficient with Microsoft office and Power BI a plus
