SaaS implementation Project Manager
– Remote, Contract Role
RedStream Technology is recruiting a Project Manager to work with our client, a leading SaaS provider for the advertising industry. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the project and the customer experience along the way. This role includes three basic skill sets: traditional project management, consultation on the best practice usage of our client’s application, and solution designing. Emphasis of each of these will vary based on project circumstances.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead, facilitate, coordinate, and track day-to- day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with broader organizational goals
- Set client expectations and influence decisions and behaviors by combining disciplined use of the project managers toolkit (i.e. scope documents, timeline, risk logs, etc.) with outstanding communication skills
- Anticipate customers, partners and other project resources needs and understand when to be flexible when the unexpected occurs
- Participate in document planning and evaluation meetings
- Present project related content internally and to client teams, including senior level leadership, at the appropriate level of detail
- Quickly identify customers business problems and access our support system and knowledge base to provide best practice consultation
- Influence and advise on the designing of the software solution that is being implemented
- Continually evaluate our client’s project methodologies and tools to actively improve the growing business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters or PMP (a plus)
- 5 years of related Project Management experience, preferably in an application implementation capacity
- Experience with SaaS business model and advertising technology is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and articulate and clear communication style, both written and verbally, with the ability to provide consultation to partners and customers, while managing expectations
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast paced culture
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence combined with a roll up your sleeves approach and the ability to execute is a good fit for this job
- Possess a can-do attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, a balanced approach to the daily challenges of project work
- Ability to work with an international team
